This course is compulsory for ELED students while other students are not allowed to take the course. The course is the last of a series of three courses on English Language teaching techniques, introducing the skill-based reading approach and genre-based writing approach.
40% Coursebook evaluation - write a 1500-word (+/-10%) evaluation of reading texts and reading activities in a local English language textbook
60% Teaching package - plan a reading or writing lesson lasting for not more than 80 minutes, conduct a teaching demonstration of 20 minutes of your planned lesson, and write a 1200-word (+/-10%) reflection of your lesson planning as well as teaching demonstration
