Course Description
objectives:
To enable students to develop a broader

perspective and a critical understanding 

of mental health and mental illness;

To facilitate the student to have 

interconnectedness of mental health 

issues that they are confronted with in 

their everyday lives;

To cultivate students’ appreciation of 

their own cultural and other cultural 

perspectives on mental illness
Assessment
Tutorial Participation: Tutor Rating (AT1a) 5% 

Tutorial Participation: Peer Rating (AT1b) 5% 

Tutorial Presentation (AT1c) 10% 

Individual Assignment (AT2) – bi-weekly reflective  journaling  50%

Group Video (AT3a) – video clip   30%
Group Video (AT3b) – report
