Course Description

有四個星期六出Field Trip，睇唔同生境：1) Rocky Shore 2) Tolo Harbour (要坐船出海) 3) Freshwater Stream 4) Terrestrial Habitat。有Field Guide認下螺、藤壺、蠔、insects & their larvae、植物等等，認唔到唔駛驚，即管問Demonstrator，每次既Field都非常充實。平時冇乜pre-lab壓力，得出Field前要係Pre下。有時要收集樣本番Lab繼續做分析，上堂會教你用少少SPSS，有Statistic底會更快掌握到。做好心理準備出Field時要量度好多Parameters，亂過亂世佳人，最好整番個Checklist、同組員傾下點分工。成個Course最Chur就係出Field後既林林總總，Workload都幾大，真係要管理好時間。每次完Field Trip後都要交data，佢地整合、check完全班既data後，擺上BB，你再寫Group Report或Worksheet。Report既話有outline提你要discuss番啲咩，Manuscript style，頁數限制8-10頁，Worksheet則是答4-5條要整graph既Long Q。但要等佢整合出嚟先開得工，class data仍然有機會錯，少kick。每個field更有1-2組要負責ppt presentation，抽籤決定，report同present同一日deadline，撞埋midterm既話真係死得。讀完個course後練出既soft skills夠曬喺揾工時吹水了。
