Course Description

This course is a general introduction to the theory of the determination of national income and
aggregate economic behaviour. Topics include national income accounting, unemployment,
inflation, monetary and fiscal policies for economic stabilization, and international economic issues.
Applications of basic macroeconomic principles to contemporary business issues are emphasized.

Assessment

Class Participation: 5% ; Individual Homework: 15% ; Midterm: 30% ; Final: 50%
