Course Description

This course deals with the fundamentals of statistical methods, including descriptive statistics,
probability, statistical inference, simple linear regression and basic ANOVA. Application of
statistical methods to problems pertaining to business will be emphasized throughout this course.

Assessment

20% mid-term (A4 cheat sheet allowed) , 35% final (A4 cheat sheet allowed), 20% homework (total: 4), 15% group project (planned: 3-5, actual: 1), 10% in-class exercise
