Course Description
This is a compulsory course for students from the Faculty of Education, yet many other students, in particular students from the Department of Psychology, are also interested in taking it as an elective. It basically covers everything about teaching and learning, including cognitive theories of learning, learning strategies, instructional strategies, assessment techniques, classroom management, and students' motivation.
Assessment
25% Test 1 - covers the former half of the course (40 (+1 bonus) multiple choice questions / 50 minutes)

35% Test 2 - covers the latter half of the course (50 (+1 bonus) multiple choice questions / 100 minutes)

4% Project Proposal - students form groups of 4-6 and submit a 1000-word (+/-10%) research proposal on any topic related to teaching or learning

36% Project Essay - students conduct research according to feedback on the project proposal provided by the professor and submit a formal research paper of not more than 20 pages
