Course Description
This course is mainly a writing course including two pieces of major assignment, which are a persuasion essay and a short story analysis essay. Three drafts have to be submitted for each assignment and the first drafts of each assignment are not graded. Online and in-class oral peer reviews are conducted for each writing assignment.

All lectures and tutorials are compulsory as in-class participation is a component of the assessment.

This course is compulsory for all ENGE and ELED students while students taking other programmes are not allowed to take this course.
