Course Description
This course is designed to provide you the capacity to understand the theory and apply the techniques that have been developed in analyzing real world corporate finance decisions.
Most of the course deals with how managers formulate their corporate finance policies in the imperfect market with taxes, agency conflicts and information asymmetries. Major topics include capital structure, agency theory and debtholder – equityholder conflicts, initial public offering, seasoned equity offering, dividend policy, investment under uncertainty, real options, and mergers and acquisitions.
