Course Description
This course aims at helping new students to develop an understanding and appreciation of university education and to adapt to campus life. Origins, traditions and objectives of universities, and their relationships with individual and society will be introduced. Distinctions between adult learning & juvenile learning, high-school and university studies will be elaborated. Advice and effective social and study skills will be provided to facilitate smooth transition. The Founder’s Ideas and the WS (Woo Sing) Spirit will also be covered.

40% Tutorial Presentation and Participation ; 25% Local Tour Group Project ; 15% “Me” Project ; 20% Reflection Paper
