After attending this course, I have understanding more of the theories on policymaking and policy implementation, anti-corruption policy, higher education, aging policies, bureaucratic systems, and reform, which is a diversity course. For me, I really enjoyed this class and the format it was presented in. I liked the fact of this course was very clear that it included a more detailed explanation of theories and case studies in the lecture by the professor. For the presentation and final research paper, more internet research, and readings enriched me to become more open-minded and tolerant of different public policy areas. Overall, I enjoyed the course. I liked that everything was straightforward and trained me in the ability to integrate empirical findings with theoretical guidance in Greater China.
