This course emphasizes four parts in Life Sciences: Chemistry of Life and The Cell, Tracing the hereditary pattern, Reproduction & Human Health, Ecology & Evolution. While the four parts really do highlight some of the critical topics which are expected to differentiate in the later learning in the courses provided by Faculty of Life Sciences, the content is pretty much a blatant copy from the textbook provided, except some of the extra knowledge Prof. Shannon provided in the lecture. I feel that the course is under the influence of secondary school education which focus more on the exam skill. If you're interested in Life Sciences but not required to take the course, you better not to.Assessment
