More focus on how important discoveries in Chemistry are made (more like history lesson). The Chemistry knowledge itself is very basic (You've known them if you've taken DSE Chemistry). Note that nuclear physics are also taught in this course.

Talk about discoveries in Chemistry plus easy Chem knowledge (H-bonding, flame test, noble gas...)

Phy concepts also involved (on the discovery of nucleus, nuclear power, etc)

Quite easy if studied both DSE Phy and Chem

However, there are only 40 vacancies, hard to reg

Assessment

NO ATTENDANCE (y)

10% 2 assignments (matching, circling, fill in the blanks etc.)

10% 1 lab report (easy full marks, fill in the blanks, two as a group)

20% 1 essay (1000 words) (can choose to write from 5 topics: discovery of noble gases, electrolysis etc.)

60% 2 quizes (read ppt is enough, only MC and fill in the blanks)

好似好多野做咁，不過全部都可以輕鬆做完
