Course Description

Talk about what emotion is, what is stress, anxiety, depression, anger, and happiness; and how to regulate the aforementioned emotions.

Content in the powerpoint is ALWAYS repeated,

Assessment
20% tutorial attendance (40人一班既tutorial, no need present, no need discussion, don't even need to prepare ANYTHING or read their readings, literally sit there for 45 minutes and you get 20 marks)

80% quiz (2 quizzes, 每份quiz 3揀2 essay questions; quiz 1 on lectures 1-6; quiz 2 on lectures 7-12)

Here are the exact 3 essay Qs asked during quiz 1

1. What are the 3 major components of emotion? what will happen when a mind is overwhelmed by an emotion?

2. According to James Gross, what is emotion regulation? in neuroscience terms, what regulatory processes may be involved when we try to regulate emotions?

3. What is psychological stress? How does long term stress affect body and mind?
