主要教授以社會學、歷史、文化、經濟、地理的角度解讀一個城市，以了解城市的塑造、運作及挑戰。

The lecture teaches students to read the urban through sociological, historical, cultural, economic and geographical aspects so as to let students understand the shaping of urban form, the operation of the urban and various challenges to the urban nowadays.
