Professor: Prof. Q. A. Parker
Course Description
The course is very interesting and informative both for science and non-science students. By taking this course one could certainly expect to understand how science is logically hypothesized, rigorously formalized, philosophically reasoned and experimentally proved. Besides, it successfully teaches the basic philosophies, common practices, charismatic personalities and curious viewpoints that form the main crux of science and scientists. Further, it removes the stereotypical blanket of obscurity, strangeness, and peculiarity that usually shrouds the great minds of science and the seemingly difficult and abstract pieces of work they produce. In all, it shows the human side of people of science and helps restore in the participants' minds the beauty, joy, and simplicity, the very concepts science truly represents.
