Course Description
This course is intended to be a first course in game theory. You are not assumed to have any prior knowledge in game theory. I understand that some of you may have picked up some game theoretic terms such as prisoner's dilemma and dominant strategy from somewhere else.
Unfortunately, the practice of game theory outside the academia is subject to abuse. Many "practitioners" use the term dominant strategy in their writings without using the correct definition. A very basic objective of the course is to provide a proper training in game theory, so that you're able to tell the common abuse of game theory and more importantly, you won't be one of those "practitioners".
