Course Description
Very interesting course. Introduce how meanings of life changes with the time and how it becomes different when the environment changes. It makes me think a lot about the world.

Class Participation 20%
Take-home midterm essay 30%
Take-home finay paper 50%

Course Description
Basically it talk about how different people in different culture different time think about their meanings of life.  Not a direct guide and discussion toward your own meanings of life.
Assessment
A take home mid term and a take home exam.  Which are loads of papers.

Course Description
I am a BA student but still find this course manageable. Interesting and inspiring, have quiet a lot of reading you should expect the workload to be similar to FH/FN. A nice choice if you want to improve your accent/ listening since the professor is native American, biligual in Japanese and English

1) Take-home mid-term examination OR an interview and analysis of a person as to “life after death and life before death” (6-7 pages long: 30% of  grade)
2) Take-home final examination (10 pages long: 50% of grade).
