Course Description
A general introduction to the relationship between psychology and the legal system. Topics covered include crime investigation, mental competence, malingering, jury decision-making and forensic psychology. Particular emphasis will be given to legal issues relevant for Hong Kong, and ways in which an understanding of psychology can improve the validity and efficiency of the legal system.
